The regular red carpet happenings were given a huge shock when Lady Gaga arrived on a horse at the 2013 AMAs. Rumors had been swirling around all night about Lady Gaga planning an entrance which was being kept highly secretive. Safe to say when she arrived, all eyes turned to her. That's what Gaga does.
This was Gaga's very first performance on the stage in 2009. After an energetic and choreography filled Bad Romance, she transitioned to Speechless by shattering glass, setting a piano on fire and breaking alcohol bottles as she went along. The crowd was introduced, formally to the performance genius of Lady Gaga.
Keeping up her tradition of bringing mega theatrics to the AMA stage, Gaga took on the persona of Marilyn Monroe with R. Kelly acting as the President. The two performed Do What You Want with Gaga ending the performance with a powerful message about media culture and celebrity.
Touting one of the signature Joanne era hats and a Brandon Maxwell pantsuit, Gaga really took red carpet elegance to a whole new level. Gaga looked so stunning that she was named best dressed by several media outlets including E! News, Vogue and the Wendy Williams show.
After arriving in a stunning white pantsuit, Gaga took the stage to perform Million Reasons. Even when attempting to be stripped back, she did not spare any expenses. Covering the entire stage in grass set to an enchanting background of stars, Gaga belted out her hit single Million Reasons, barefoot and with a guitar. She took the opportunity to show off her stellar vocals and really won the night.
