15 Reasons why 2017 was Lady Gaga’s Year

Lady Gaga headlined the Super Bowl halftime show on February 5th 2017. She gave the fans everything they wanted with that incredible performance, and managed to have the MOST watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time via broadcast and digital channels!

The performance also gathered a whopping 6 EMMY NOMINATIONS. The most ever! It ended up winning one Emmy!

Lady Gaga lefts fans shook as she announced she would be replacing Beyonce as the headliner at Coachella. 

 She gave her fans the ideal setlist by performing her greatest hits along with fan favourites such as "Sheiße" and "Sexxx Dreams".

Not only did she deliver an explosive performance two weekends in a row at the festival. Lady Gaga surprised fans by performing and dropping a brand new single during the show. 

While there was no promotion for the single, it still peaked at #39 on the Hot 100 , which made it her 20th Top 40 hit!

Lady Gaga took the stage with the legendary band Metallica for an explosive performance of "Moth Into Flame". It received a lot of praise by critics and Lady Gaga arrived on the red carpet looking absolutely sickening!

Lady Gaga had one of the most iconic appearances on Drag Race; and while the Emmy's did not go to Gaga, the episode itself that featured her as a guest, won several Emmy's!

At the beginning of the year, it was announced that Lady Gaga would star in Tiffany & Co's first Super Bowl ad! The campaign was a giant hit!

Lady Gaga is set to star in the remake of "A Star is Born" which will hit theatres May 18th 2018. This has been a dream come true for Gaga!

Lady Gaga partnered with Starbucks as a mission to build a kinder and braver world. Four drinks were created as part of this collection. Proceeds were donated to the Born This Way Foundation.

Lady Gaga has done so much to help different communities and causes in 2017. Partnering with Staples is just another one of those. Staples donated $1 million to the Born This Way Foundation. The campaign's mission was to promote a kinder environment in school environments. 

Yet another fantastic act by Lady Gaga: talking about the importance of mental health with PRINCE WILLIAM. The two discussed that it is important to be vocal about your mental health and that you shouldn't feel judged. The two are expected to meet sometime to further discuss the issue.

Lady Gaga sent the fanbase into a frenzy when she took an entire day to announce that she would be releasing a Netflix original documentary. The doc received amazing reviews while striking very emotional responses from the fanbase.

Lady Gaga performed for the 5 living former presidents of the United States for a special hurricane relief benefit concert. It was later announced that Lady Gaga also donated $1M for mental health services for hurricane survivors. A charitable Queen!

Towards the end of the year, it was announced that Lady Gaga would be the new brand ambassador for Tudor Watch! An epic commercial was released to go with the campaign and this also marked Lady Gaga as the FIRST EVER female ambassador!

Lady Gaga's Joanne World Tour has received raving reviews for her epic stage, diverse setlist and stunning outfits. The tour was sold out in North America and Lady Gaga will continue the European leg into the new year. 

2017 was almost over but Lady Gaga ultimately shocked fans by announcing her Las Vegas residency at Park Theatre in Park MGM starting in December of 2018!
