A Star is Born becomes highest grossing musical of 2018

In just 3 weeks of release, A Star is Born becomes the highest grossing musical of 2018 (domestic). The film beats out other major musical sellers in 2018 such as Mama Mia: Here We Go Again!  and The Greatest Showman which was released in late 2017.

A Star is Born is also the 16th highest grossing movie in 2018 despite being released so late in the year.
