Lady Gaga secures 9 VMA nominations

Lady Gaga has secured 9 nominations at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. Gaga, along with Ariana Grande, received the most nominations this year. Notably, Gaga is nominated for the two biggest awards for the night: Video of the Year and Artist of the Year. She is also nominated for the new category: Best Quarantine Performance for her performance of Smile at the One World Together at Home show.

The VMA show will be held on August 30th, 2020 in New York City.
